She learned to weave as a child from her father Ján Aláč. She started cooperating with ÚĽUV in 1965. She perfectly masters the processing of wool – washing, dyeing, carding, spinning. Alongside spinning work, she also engages in weaving. She started with weaving monochrome scarves and checked covers. Later on, she made rag rugs and carpets in various colors, marbled and shaded. In 1985, she won the 2nd prize for woven products in a competition organized by ÚĽUV. In 1988, she received a certificate of recognition as a master of folk art production in the field of weaving from the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Production Workers.
