She learned how to do bobbin lace as a child from older women in Šoporná. She made lace for personal use and for the local folk costumes – bonnets, edgings, aprons. For the ÚĽUV (Center for Folk Art Production) she made lace in the Šoporná style. At first, they were meter-long lace pieces, later collars, covers. She made dress belts out of golden threads. For lace making, she used thin cotton threads, linen, hemp, as well as metallic threads. In 1964, she obtained a master craftsman certificate in the field of lace, issued by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Production Workers
