Handmade on an electric potter’s wheel, handle attached with slip, wide (approx. 3.5 cm) band of dark brown clay applied on the belly with a brush, adorned with six little birds alternating around the circumference and a dividing geometric decoration made of vertical lines and a row of dots. A horizontal row of dots on the neck is applied with a quill (hornbeam twig) using white clay, as well as the rest of the decoration. Once fired, it is coated with a transparent colorless glaze and fired again in an electric pottery kiln.
She is a graduate of the Secondary School of Applied Arts, specializing in ceramics. After completing her studies, she worked at a center in Pozdišovce, where she honed her skills in pottery wheel throwing and painting. Drawing inspiration from old patterns...
