It comes from the surroundings of Detva in the Podpolianska region. It originally occurred on traditional clothing accessories. A typical embroidery technique called chain stitch is used. The fabric is stretched on a frame during embroidery. This embroidery technique is considered unique in Slovakia.
She masters the embroidery technique with a hook-shaped needle at a high level – chain stitch sewn with a hook, which is typical for the Podpolian area.
