The coverlet is made of 100% linen, stitched with cotton thread.
Jablonica embroidery is decorative and multicolored. It is characterized by a large-scale floral ornament sewn in full flat stitch. The ornamental composition consists of relatively large flowers, often complemented by bird motifs. The embroidery color was white, red, or a combination of red with white and yellow. Colorful cotton threads also became very popular in the early 20th century.
