About product

The embroidery comes from the Detva area in the Podpolian region. It originally appeared on traditional clothing pieces. Typical is the embroidery technique called “krivá ihla – reťazíkový steh šitý háčikom.” The textile is stretched on a frame during embroidery. This embroidery technique is considered unique in Slovakia.
