About product

The embroidery comes from the surroundings of Detva in the Podpolian region. It originally appeared on traditional clothing components. Typical is the embroidery technique called “crooked needle” – chain stitch sewn with a hook. The textile is stretched on a frame during embroidering. This embroidery technique is considered unique in Slovakia.
