Ban-shaped pot, with handle on one side. Made according to traditional patterns of pottery production from the Gemer region. Hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel from white clay. Produced in various versions of decoration. Decorated with a band pattern below the neck, made from thicker and thinner lines of dark brown and reddish-brown clay. Complemented by scratched and painted geometric decoration, as well as plastic, applied decoration in various variations. Glazed on the inside with transparent glaze, while the neck and handle are glazed in green on the outside. The majority of the vessel on the outside is unglazed.
He learned the craft of Slovak folk majolica in Modra, actively starting production in 1985
