The picture in a wooden frame is made using the technique of underpainting on glass. The motif of the Holy Family is a free replica of a historical glass underpainting (around 1830 – 1740) found in Bojnice. (Source: Pišútová, I.: Glass Paintings, Center for Folk Art Production, 2010). The dimensions of the painting are provided together with the wooden frame.
