The painting in a wooden frame is created using reverse glass painting technique. The subject of the Flight into Egypt is a free replica of a historical reverse glass painting (circa 1835 – 1840) found in central Slovakia (Source: Pišútová, I.: Glass Paintings, Center of Folk Art Production, 2010).
