About product
The blanket is embroidered on factory linen fabric with regular warp threads with colorful beads. Geometric motifs characterize the ornamentation of Horehronie embroidery, in which squares dominate embroidered with different colored threads. New simpler and more complex embroidery techniques are applied. Plain and twisted cross-stitch, satin stitch, cutwork, and seed stitch represent the basic techniques in Horehronie embroidery. In addition, many others are represented, for example, stem stitch, double chain stitch, and leaf stitch.
