Powder horn made from a part of a cylindrical-shaped deer antler with a pouring opening secured by a latch. The vessel is vertically divided into two sections: adorned and natural. The adorned section features linear geometric ornamental motifs (circles, rosettes, crescents, dots, and waves) arranged in horizontal bands. The top part is decorated similarly around the pouring opening in the shape of a tube.
He grew up in the Upper Nitra village of Jalovec and remained connected to this environment throughout his life. Wood had a scent for him from childhood. His father could make everything for the farm, and during the winter months he wove loom baskets...
