Wooden drinking vessel, circular in shape, slightly tapered downwards with a fitted bottom. Handle attached to the upper rim of the body and fixed at the bottom by a brass-coated metal strip wrapping around the lower part of the body. The body is adorned with embossed geometric ornamental motifs around the top and sides, with the embossed text “In a shepherds’ style, who will drive away the goats for me?” Brass clasp decorated with embossed meanders. Carved handle with an oval-shaped hole in the center, with a small male figure carved at the top, dancing as a shepherd. The right hand is missing. Ladle of Central Slovak type.
