Shepherd’s wooden drinking vessel, body of conical shape widening upwards, upper rim of the vessel decorated with fine carving, inset bottom. Massive flat handle in the shape of a stylized peacock with a crown on its head is intricately embellished with a toothed pattern. It is inserted into a vertical groove in the vessel’s body and secured at the bottom with a narrow brass band. Ladle of the northern Slovak type.
