Wooden drinking vessel, cylindrical body shape, inset base, carved handle attached to the upper rim of the body, topped with a figure of a sitting shepherd stirring milk in a bucket. The lower part of the handle is attached to the body of the vessel around the edge with a brass strip. The body of the vessel is decorated with embossed, partly worn inscription “Our God, our Lord, what does our shepherd do as he grazes looks at the milking maid makes young cheese”.
