Popularly known as the pitcher jug. Hand-turned on a potter’s wheel with a shaped narrow neck, flattened on four sides, handle attached with slip, fired once, coated with white covering glaze, decorated with vertically painted geometric design using majolica colors, fired a second time in an electric ceramic kiln.
Vlastimil Havlíček trained at the Majolika Modra School of Applied Arts, where he worked for some time. In the 1980s, he became independent and worked for the ULUV (Center for Folk Art Production) as a majolica maker.
