Handcrafted on a potter’s wheel, fired shard coated with dark blue covering glaze, painted colorful plant motif in raw majolica glaze on the bottom and along the edge of the plate – possible pattern variations, fired a second time.
The pottery first caught his attention when, as a student of an art club, he went on a tour of the workshop of the Slovak Folk Majolica in Modra.
