The sitting Virgin Mary in red robes, over which she has a blue cloak draped, holds in her lap the crucified Christ dressed only in a light blue loincloth, whom she gently lifts the head of with her right hand. Both have yellow royal crowns in baroque style on their heads. The statue, along with its base, is crafted from a block of linden wood.
