A pitcher made from red clay, thrown on the wheel. Decoration: a shard covered with grayish-beige engobe, with brown groups of dots alternating in vertical stripes – geometricized flowers and green little trees. Decoration: painted with a cuckoo. Transparent colorless glaze. Grayish-blue engobe remained in poorly fired spots.
Member of the old pottery family from Bardejov, the fourteenth and last representative. He inherited from his father, who was the last master potter in Bardejov, the production legacy of the old craft along with written and other historical monuments...
