Pitcher with a narrow neck and handle, popularly known as a juglet. The narrow neck protects against warm air access and keeps the liquid longer in a cold state. Made according to traditional pottery patterns from the Gemer region. Handcrafted on a potter’s wheel from white clay. In the section below the neck, it is decorated with a painted striped motif, composed of lines and waves of various thicknesses, made from dark brown and reddish-brown clay. The decor is dominated by a large-scale wave pattern, interrupted by two thin lines. Glazed on the inside with transparent glaze, the neck and handle are glazed in green on the outside. Most of the vessel’s exterior is unglazed.
