Pitcher with a narrow neck and handle, colloquially called a “cepek.” The narrow neck protects the access of warm air and keeps the liquid longer in a cool state. Made according to traditional models of ceramic production from the Gemer region. Handmade on a potter’s wheel from white clay. In the area below the neck, it is decorated with a painted banded motif, composed of lines and waves of various thicknesses, from dark brown and reddish-brown clay, interrupted by ornament in some parts. It is produced in various decorative variations. Inside is glazed with a transparent glaze, the neck and handle are glazed in green. The larger part of the vessel from the outside is unglazed.
