About product
A plate made of red clay, thrown on a wheel. Low walls are slightly concave, with a pronounced upwardly curved rim. Decor: two stylized figures of a woman with a hoe. Around the inscription: “here and there 1952”. Color scheme: colorful decor on a white background (blue, green, brown, black), black inscription. Colorless glaze. Marking: spiral-shaped stamp at the bottom.
The last Slovak master potter Michal Polaško-Garbar from Pozdišovce, born in 1883, discovered pottery through hollow ceramics in his father’s workshop. He started his own production in 1990.
