Pottery pot with a handle is handcrafted on a potter’s wheel, decorated with a plastic rope-like ornament, also known as “finger coils.” The name of the ornament is derived from the production process, where the clay rope attached is pressed with a fingertip at regular intervals. Finger coils made in this way serve not only for decoration but also to reinforce the circumference of the vessel. The pot is inspired by pottery products from Gemer in terms of patterns and shape. It is glazed on the inside with a transparent glaze and on the outside with a green glaze.
He learned the craft of Slovak folk majolica in Modra, actively starting production in 1985
