About product
A pot with two handles is hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel, adorned with a plastic chain decor, also known as finger ropes. The name of the decor is derived from the production process, where the attached clay rope is pressed with the tip of a finger at regular intervals. These finger ropes, thus made, serve not only as decoration but also to reinforce the vessel’s circumference. Both in patterns and shape, the pot is inspired by pottery products from Gemer. The interior is glazed with a transparent glaze, while the exterior is glazed in green.
