Between 1986 and 1989, he studied at the School of Applied Arts in Bratislava, specializing in wood shaping and carving. He continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, graduating in 1997 from the Industrial Design Studio led by Peter Paliatka and Ferdinand Chrenka. During his university studies, he also participated in a study stay at the École Regional de Beaux Arts in Saint Étienne. In his work, he uses materials such as wood, metal, and glass. He complements traditional production techniques with his own craftsmanship. Each piece – a standalone piece created by his hands – is an original artistic expression, as evidenced by the overlap between functionality and art. Through his creative material processing, he creates simple yet visually appealing utility objects – various burnt bowls or bowls shaped with a circular saw. In addition, he also creates interior accessories, as well as original interior and exterior furniture pieces, sculptures, and reliefs.

He has had numerous exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad (Glasgow, Saint Étienne, Frederiksberg, Munich, …). From domestic exhibitions, the collective exhibition of the authors Close Circle at the Design Studio of the Crafts and Arts Institute in Bratislava, Design Forum in Nitra (1997, 1998), and the exhibition of the Rings on the Water competition (2000) can be mentioned. In 2006 – 2007, he was part of the exhibition of Slovak crafts and design PEKNÔ.SK in Finland.

He won awards in 1994 for the Most Beautiful Bowl of Slovakia and in 2000 for 2nd place in the Rings on the Water competition.
