There is no need to introduce the Slovak designer Tibor Uhrín to admirers of contemporary woodcraft. He has been working in this field for thirty years already, spending half his time on developing the technology for machine shaping. The results of his work are characterised by expressive traces left by the tool and are undoubtedly of a craft nature. After completing the intensive and complicated project “Folds and Erosions” which he worked on in the summer of 2018, he is enjoying a winter break and working on an intellectual level.
