During ÚĽUV’s long years of existence, thousands of designs of folk art products were made, making up the very varied and rich range of the ÚĽUV network of shops. Today, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the organisation’s foundation, staff from the Section for the Care of Folk Art Production (ÚSoĽUV) delved into the archives to choose some designs from their predecessors – ÚĽUV artists – which were produced in the 1980s and 1990s. These designs caught their attention with their timeless form, finish and ornamentation. Thanks to cooperation with experience producers and masters of their craft, they succeeded in creating a retro collection which also appeals to people today.
