The figure of the sculptor Marián Huba automatically comes to mind when the topic of tradition in wood comes up. He is an artist, teacher, environmentalist and landscape architect whose way of life quietly reminds people today of the depth of our past. Grasping this person through his own words about himself is difficult. His modesty and humility, his approach to distant generations of our ancestors, conceal his breadth of opinion and the depth of his devotion to things which he considers moral and ethical according to his education and experience.
