Crafts, traditional techniques and method of processing or working a material which have endured for decades, are a living testimony to the creative human spirit and adaptability. They offer us a unique link between past and present. Although we live in an era of technology and mass production, traditional crafts still survive, and are even enjoying a renaissance. However, where does the value of craft lie? Does craft have a universal message?
