Júlia Legátová
Tomáš Gabzdil Libertíny, currently an artist known around the world, was born in 1979 in Rožňava. His family background defined his path in life; his love for literature, art and the experience he gained on hiking paths were transformed into subconscious steps in his life. This Slovak artist absorbs with humility every experience; his production forms a whole breadth of fine art. It includes painting on canvas, printmaking, monotype, sculpture, photography, concentrating mainly on repetitive processual processes, also in connection with nature. He works under the cover of multi-disciplinarity, studying several approaches and views of selected topics. His aim is to create a work which provokes an emotion.
