While browsing through the collections of the Museum of Folk Art Production (MĽUV) in Stupava, we uncovered the fascinating story of the Centre for Folk Art Production (ÚĽUV) which has been protecting and developing the heritage of traditional crafts for eighty years already. The MĽUV document collection contains over 20,000 photograph cards which systematically document ÚĽUV’s product range from its beginnings to the present day. Many products were for many years – and still remain – iconic and have not lost any of their appeal to customers. In this issue of our magazine, we will look more closely at three of these icons.
