Spiš wireworkers – less well-known, but equally significant

Wirework was most often associated with the Kysuce and Považie regions, that is with the area of the former Trenčín county, from where the Trenčín wireworkers originated. Less well-known but equally significant is the tradition of wirework in the upper or northern Spiš region, whose bearers are known in specialised literature as Spiš wireworkers.
