The Drotária Museum in Veľké Rovné (Bytča district), founded in 2006, is housed in one of the oldest buildings in the municipality. Veľké Rovné includes over fifty hamlets, once inhabited by up to 6,000 people, at one point more than in the district capital of Bytča. In the 19th century, the municipality rose to fame with its wirework, and this craft also went straight to Ladislav Fapšo’s heart. He has been the administrator of this museum since 2022, and has installed here some of the collections that he has gathered over the years of his research work.
