Viera Kleinová
Kristína Hrončeková (1980), a young graduate of the Metal and Jewel Studio of the University of Fine Arts, presented her first individual exhibition of jewels at the Design Studio of ÚĽUV. Her debut was presented together with graphic designer Ďuro Balogh, with whom she works under the trademark Corydoras. The exhibition contained jewels she had created during her studies and diploma work with which she established her Liči trademark. The term Liči also includes her project for an alternative jewel exhibition: the jewels are encased in a special glass-top table and transported to bars and coffee houses to bring them closer to the people. Corydoras represents another aspect of her focused on design with elements of free art including a non-conformist view of textile and clothing design.
