The combining of two different nations of clearly different cultures, traditions and history can take various forms. Something that can truly connect nations is fashion. The fashion show, La Pasarela, which was held in May in Bratislava, presented to the audience combinations of traditional Slovak folk costume elements with the temperament of Mexico. The idea for the show came from its organizer, Patrícia Kordiaková, from Slovakia, who is very closely connected to fashion. Presented here were designers Milada Sabolová, Monika Maticseková, Jenny Jeshko and Gabriela Giotto.
