Clothes from the KeySook Geum Studio are not meant to be worn. Rather, they should be exhibited, collected and admired – all over the world, being sculpture and, at the same time, being works of art in the form of hung dresses. The artist works mainly in metal wire, the techniques being weaving, bending, making knots, decorating with beads or artificial pearls or precious stones, the processes often taking hundreds of hours. Despite the fact that wire does not normally feature in experiments with clothes, these works of art leave you in no doubt, as they are fine, airy, light, and delicate.
