In 2005, a significant product, interior and graphic designer as well as architect and ingenious artist, Oki Sato, founded in Tokyo a company called Nendo. It was thanks to his unusual talent, playful view of the world and life, as well as a particular perception of ordinary objects that each and every of his creations became an immediate sensation; his collection Thin Black Lines being a case in point. Black lines, seemingly distributed in space at random, are in fact sophisticated and fully functional furniture items and decorations.
