In the past, furniture used to be usually made of wood. Nowadays, designers often use other kinds of materials and wood is somehow loosing its´ once primary position. We asked several Slovak designers who dedicate themselves to creating furniture for sitting to share their opinion about what their preference is regarding materials; whether it‘s a fact that wood as primary material is declining and does it have a future in furniture making.
