Zuzana Strešnáková
Designer Michal Fratrič, who lives and works in Banská Bystrica dedicates his artwork to creating furniture for sitting and is influenced by folklore traditions. He mostly works with wood he collects from gardens and orchards owned by his friends. He uses different techniques of working with wood, and doesn´t exclude ancient techniques either. He is very often inspired by animal motifs – he‘s created a wooden chair called Hedgehog, and other two-headed beasts made into seats.
