During this year´s Milan Design Week at the exhibition mall Rho where Salone del mobile took place, Slovak and Czech designers presented their work in two expositions – the first was dedicated to the history of Czech design entitled Story of Czech Design. From Cubism to XXI century. It was a small walk through of the history of Czecho-Slovak industrial art. The second exposition was a chamber one, it had a little more specific character and again a Czecho-Slovak signature. Made in Paper was the title of student´s works and designs of paper movables. The idea originated in the studios of product design and digital design at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of the Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín. And it was this project that the Department of Furniture Design and Interior of the Technical University in Zvolen took part in. Read the article to find out more.
