In the world of design there is probably not many other products that would reflect the imagination and creativity of the designer such as chairs and armchairs. The windsor style belongs to a group of objects which through gradual perfections have reached almost ideal practical and aesthetic parametres. Those are the reasons why to this day they represent an inspiration for designers and producers and have become the fundament for many technological and shape innovations and redefinitions. This is how design interpretations such as the Peackock chair designed by the Danish designer Hans J. Wegner and the collection Nub of the Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola represent a redesign of the Windsor armchair with a comb style chair back.
