This edition records techniques of traditional crafts that have lately been on decline or entirely forgotten. Even the home made production of wool is one of the less known techniques, since what has been more common was the production of home made linen or of a cotton thread. The author tries to attract our attention to an almost forgotten tradition of home made production of wool – thrown by hand and then woven on a home-made loom. The book offers not only instructions for weaving but also a whole manual for how to make a woven bag.
