The designer hat brand BySju is known around the world, but few people know it in Slovakia, despite the fact that it was established in London in 2014 by a Slovak from Štúrovo, Zuzka “Sju” Smatanová. BySju is inspired by the simplicity found in nature, as well as by the colour and variety of contemporary pop and street culture. Although Zuzka left for London to study finance and management, she ended up following a different path. All the designs are her own; using the best quality materials, her hats speak to people from different cultures and environments. They are all seeking the same thing: a beautiful, striking designer hat which they can wear with pride and freedom of expression.
