Articles born of fire have filled the premises of Bratislava’s ÚĽUV gallery. The exhibition with the poetic title “Born of Fire” presents one of humankind’s oldest forms of production – blacksmithing – from three perspectives: traditional blacksmithing as the craft production of iron objects on an open fire, the contribution of ÚĽUV to the process of changing production from traditional blacksmithing to an artistic interpretation of objects, and a view of Roma blacksmithing as one of the traditional employments of Roma. The exhibition will be open until September 6th 2019.
