Fantasy, geometry, movement, colours – these are the elements which form an intrinsic part of the Czech designer brand KUTULU, established by Pavla Boháčová. Since 2015, she has been designing toys mainly aimed at preschool children, which will also interest adults. Pavla gradually began to work with friends and designers who are trying to revive traditional Czech toys with an artistic, as well as craft, quality. Whether you are looking for a toy for a boy or a girl, colour is an aspect to be factored into making the right choice. The brand has several series of toys: Kutulu features multi-coloured birds and contrasting swans; horses are from the Hipo series, the articulated Pi-pi birds can be made to move with a simple touch. The young designers have approached toy-making in an unusual manner. They try to combine play with teaching and a story, as can be seen in their latest series, Mytho, inspired by ancient mythology.
