The Centre for Folk Art Production launched a new publication entitled Krpce (traditional leather shoes) by authors Petra Jarošová and Nora Čechmánková. The book was published in the Pramene (Sources) series, which accompanies the practical guides of the School of Traditional Production and Crafts series. By combining theory, research and experience of working with leather, the authors demonstrate in this publication the variety of shapes and regional types of krpce shoes worn across Slovakia.
