Design accompanies humanity from “Adam” – in objects and deeds. It cannot be detached from man, it fulfills his ideas and desires, it gives shape to the way of life. We look with admiration at the ancestral heritage, at the testimonies hidden in vessels, tools, jewellery. The historical footprint in the form of a design reference speaks of a logical connection with the level of knowledge. At the beginning is the nature of development, creativity, skill. Man, associated with nature, surrounded by natural materials, created objects to make it easier for him to live.
Achieved quality was moved further. Scepter was passed from father to son, inheritance of gouges and planes. This is how the property of skills was created. The world of colours, materials, technologies was materialized in the architecture, clothes and tools. Individual who will inherit personal property knows how to decide, how to invest advantageously. Consciousness of individual in terms of relationshop to common cultural heritage is really peculiar. Many people don´t even know that it belongs to them and they don´t know what´s the value of it.
