Tradition as an inspiration is a natural part of the art and for the Centre for Folk Art Production and one of the future visions. That is why “Tandems” project was created, which aims to find out what is a tradition for design students. The assignment was open, and thus tradition unusual and students could respond to their own interpretation. At the same time, they had the choice – to choose not only their own way, but also cooperation with Masters of Folk Art Production. Student cooperation with master has has been named “Tandems”. It has chosen five students from eight. Tandem couples: Matúš Lagin – Jiří Halámek; Beata Jurítková – Ladislav Jurovatý; Georgios Somarakis – Ján Zeman; Mário Coufal – Jarmila Rynánska; Simona Duchoňová – Miloslav Orságh.
