The new concept of the activity of the ÚĽUV Open Studio was born only last year. We presented its first output in articles in the journal Craft, Art, Design no. 2/2022, “Household textiles and ÚĽUV II” and “New Face of the Open Studio”. The Open Studio attempts to support the creation of new products in the spirit of contemporary design with a high-quality craft finish. We try to bring this idea into cooperation which leads to new practical collections made of various natural materials using traditional craft techniques, as well as contemporary modern technologies.
