Traditional clothing can also be part of experienced-based tourism. A good example in practice can be found in the Moravian region of Slovácko, famed for its rich folk tradition. The Regional Innovation and Development Agency (KIRA) of the Trnava region has begun working with partners from this region through the project Folk Costume as Inspiration. Its aim is to popularise the craft of producing traditional clothing from the Slovácko region and the surroundings of Piešťany. The project is co-financed by the European Union from the Small Project Fund for Cross-Border Cooperation between the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The Centre for Folk Art Production (ÚĽUV) also worked on it.
